Canyons competed at the 3C2A State Championships for the 13th time in program history while seeing sophomore Sahya Kitabatake finish runner-up in the state after inclement weather forced the cancellation of the tournament’s second round. Kitabatake shot an even-par round of 72 on day one to tie with Tessa Hernandez of Reedley College. However, Hernandez' back-nine score was two shots lower than Kitabatake, which was the determining criteria used to award the individual state championship. Earlier in the month, Kitabatake won the 2025 3C2A Southern California Individual Regional Championship while leading Canyons to third in the team standings. The Kobe, Japan native also won the individual Western State Conference (WSC) title and earned Player of the Year honors, while helping Canyons claim the team conference title.
